With the azaleas on the grounds of Kathy and Harlan Crow‘s estate in perfect harmony with the Turtle Creek Association’s “Azalea Luncheon,” guests were welcomed from the doorstep to what many claim was the first fashion show at the Crow Library on Tuesday, March 26.
As colorful as the buds were outside, the fashions presented by North Dallas’ Betty Reiter also displayed a brilliant array of spring colors for a sold-out crowd including Honorary Chair Ann Stuart, Honorary Guest Mary Brinegar, Dallas Arboretum CEO/President Sabina Carr, Association Board Chair Deborah Stanford, Ralph Randall, Jill Goldberg and Venise Stuart.
Still, the library’s collection of standouts held its own in eye-catching amazement with such standouts as the newest item on display — Albert Einstein‘s collection of pipes that was right at home with Paul Revere‘s ladle and Lincoln’s desk.
The main hall was filled to the brim with tables for a luncheon prepared by Chef Mike McCoy, a presentation by Event Chair Sharon Ballew and Turtle Creek Association President/CEO J.D. Trueblood and the fashion presentation.

Loved this event so much! The fashion show prompted me to patronize Betty Reiter’s beautiful store. Thank you!
