The Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County have just “marked the beginning of an exciting journey leading up to its grand gala event” — the 20th Chrysalis Ball Gala’s “Cirque du Soiree, A Curiously Unexpected Evening.”
Gala Co-Chairs Lorie Medina and Melethia Tuggle have revealed a heady group of honorary co-chairs including Mayor Elisa Beasley of Pilot Point, Mayor David Bristol of Prosper, Mayor Baine Brooks of Allen, Mayor Brianna Chacon of Princeton, Mayor Jeff Cheney of Frisco, Mayor George Fuller of McKinney, Mayor Henry Lessner of Fairview, Mayor John Muns of Plano, Mayor Jay Northcut of Melissa, Mayor Nate Pike of Anna, Mayor Matthew Porter of Wylie and Mayor Ryan Tubbs of Celina.

According to the co-chairs, “These esteemed leaders, representing various cities in the region, have come together to champion the cause supported by Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County and ensure the gala’s success.”

The reveal of plans took place at a kick-off party at The Glen Restaurant, where BGC of Collin County CEO Shawn Willis said, “We are honored to have such esteemed leaders as our honorary co-chairs and experienced individuals like Melethia Tuggle and Lorie Medina as our co-chairs. Their commitment to our community aligns perfectly with the mission of our organization, and we are confident that, with their guidance, the gala will be a resounding success.”
Taking place on Saturday, October 12, at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort, the night will have “extraordinary entertainers, dazzling performances and unforgettable memories.”
