For folks who headed to beaches or mountains for spring break, welcome back. While you were gone, you missed the Dallas Mavs St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Greenville on Saturday, March 11, nice days of walk-about conditions and Thursday night’s sirens screeching for nearly a half hour as scary weather ushered in a cold front that dropped temperatures to the 30s, 40s and 50s.
Hopefully, you got rested up because the weeks ahead are going to be shades of pre-pandemic. Until mid-May every form of fundraising and non-profit celebrating will be underway in North Texas. Unfortunately, due to the number of events, there are some Solomon’s Choices to be made. Need a for instance? How about a trio of dates with significant events taking place at the same time:
- Saturday, April 1 — A Lone Star Celebration, Broadway Dallas 2023 Gala: Moulin Rouge and 2023 Nasher Prize Gala
- Friday, April 14 — Agape Clinic 40th Anniversary Dinner, Aware Affair 2023, Cristo Rey Dallas Grow the Grove, Family Night At Six Flags and Robert S. Folsom Leadership Award
- Friday, April 21 – 2023 Chick Lit Luncheon and Healing Hands Luncheon
So, get your running stilettos juiced up, because they’re going to be doing some fancy footwork in the days ahead.
