Grovel Alert: Family Compass’ North Star Luncheon

Apr 18, 2019 5:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

Strongly suggest that you take a break from dying your Easter eggs, if you haven’t gotten your tickets to Monday’s North Star Luncheon at the Dallas Country Club.

Event Co-Chairs Susan Jenevein and Candace Winslow just sent word that the Family Compass fundraiser featuring a conversation with former WFAA anchor Gloria Campos is nearly filled to capacity.

During her years at WFAA, Gloria was well known for her support of and advocacy for children in need, which fits Family Compass’ mission to prevent child abuse and neglect through its home mentoring programs and Community Education and Outreach.”

In addition to the chat with Gloria, The Rosewood Foundation will be honored for its “endless dedication and support of our work with families over the last 27 years.”

BTW, one of the raffle items is a signed and framed Dirk jersey plus two Dallas Maverick game tickets and a round of golf for four at Canyon Creek Country Club. Chance tickets are going for $50 apiece.
