With the 2023 Crystal Charity Ball‘s theme being “Masterpieces in the Making,” it only made sense to hold the CCB Underwriter Cocktail Party at Kathy and Harlan Crow‘s Library, an evolving collection of priceless art, antiques and treasures.
Before the guests like Lyda Hill, Alice and Curt Farmer, Courtney Wang, Laran O’Neill and Larry Helms, Catherine and Greg Jaynes, Claire and Dwight Emanuelson, Lisa and John Rocchio, Pat and Charles McEvoy, Tucker Enthoven with her mother Julie Ford, Margaret Hancock, Janie Condon, Kristin Hallam and Daffan and Doug Nettle started arriving, 2023 CCB Chair Angie Kadesky proudly led husband Dr. Kevin Kadesky to a room where Sir Winston Churchill‘s “View near Vence in the Alpes-Maritimes” was displayed.
For first-timers to the Library, it was a night of discovering everything from Paul Revere‘s silver soup ladle, presidential portraits and even a full-size replica of the Oval Office overlooking Turtle Creek. Oldtimers admitted that there were still new things to discover.
