There are some keynoters who are so good they ought to be brought back ASAP for an encore performance. Such a speaker is “The Freedom Writers Diary” author/Freedom Writers Foundation Founder Erin Gruwell.
Having won new loads of BFFs at The Family Compass’ North Star Luncheon this past April, Rainbow Days has managed to have Erin return to North Texas for the 27th Annual Pot of Gold Luncheon on Friday, April 19, at Westin Dallas Galleria’s Dallas Ballroom.

While the Paramount Pictures’ “Freedom Writers” 2007 film featuring Hilary Swank made a lasting impression on audiences, Erin’s in-person story about guiding “all 150 Freedom Writers to graduate high school and pursue higher education” is a jaw dropper. No wonder she’s returning!
In addition to Erin, Luncheon co-Chairs Donna and Terry Saad have arranged for “an outstanding silent auction featuring exclusive experiences and must-have items.”
While table sponsorships start at $2,500, individual tickets are going for $250.
Suggestion: Buy a couple of tickets and treat your favorite teacher and/or youngster to a lunch they won’t forget.
