According to 2024 Callier Cares Luncheon Chair Laura Downing,
“The 2024 Callier Cares Luncheon, Callier Center for Communication Disorders’ signature fundraising event, will be Monday, April 8. I am honored to serve as the 2024 Luncheon chair and follow in the footsteps of the dedicated leaders who have created such an important fund-raising event. The 2023 Luncheon raised more than $300,000.
“At the 2024 event, philanthropist and Callier advocate Sarah Losinger will receive the Ruth and Ken Altshuler Award and Rebecca Landa, speech-language pathologist specializing in neuropsychology and autism research, will receive the Campbell Callier Prize.
“We are delighted that longtime Callier advocates Sara and David Martineau will serve as the luncheon’s honorary co-chairs.
“To date, the Callier Cares Luncheon has raised nearly $2.6 million which has transformed the lives of countless children and adults with communication disorders. We are deeply grateful for the philanthropic leadership of our foundation trustees and the luncheon chairmen over the past 12 years.
“My wish is that the community will commit to help raise critically needed funds to ensure that children and adults with speech, language and hearing disorders receive access to care.
“Your support will make a difference in the lives of those who otherwise would be unable to connect with the world around them.
