KidneyTexas Inc.‘s 2023 Runway Report may have returned to Brook Hollow on Tuesday, September 26, after a two-year getaway at the Meyerson, but the fall season’s first fashion show was a combination of expected presentations and some unplanned and surprising moments.
Thanks to KidneyTexas President Nancy Greenbach, Runway Report Chair Venise Stuart and Honorary Chair Cindy Feld, the Sue Goodnight Service Award and Everson Wall Legacy Award were presented as planned to Charlotte Kimberlin and Crissy Perham, respectively.
And, of course, the day’s parade of fashions on the runway proceeded with goodies from Tootsies, St. John, Betty Reiter, Pockets and Nardos.
But the day was not without its unplanned developments that caught emcee Scott Murray off guard as well as a couple of production oops, including a run-in with one of the ballroom’s chandeliers.
