According to Folds of Honor North Texas President Mike Beltz,
“We are so excited to invite the community of North Texas to join us for this year’s Folds of Honor Annual Gala. The event will take place on Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The evening’s festivities will include dinner and dancing, a silent auction, live music, fellowship, a military color guard presentation, and, most importantly, a chance to raise funds for a noble cause.
“Folds of Honor’s mission is to provide life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military and first responders. On our watch, it is our goal that those who protect our freedoms and our families will know they are not forgotten. The money raised at this year’s gala will help provide scholarships to these deserving families in our North Texas community.
“There are more than 1.5 million dependents in the post-9/11 era alone. Of these dependents, nearly 9 out of 10 do not qualify for any kind of federal tuition assistance. Freedom isn’t free, and you can stand with us in support as we honor the sacrifice and educate the legacy of America’s fallen and disabled heroes.
“The honorary chairs for this year’s event are Holly and Jim Trester, and our gala committee is planning a night you won’t soon forget. Sponsorships begin at $5,000 and include a table of 10 so you can bring your family, friends and business associates out for a wonderful evening of dining, dancing, and fellowshipping alongside fellow patriots.
