Gee, but the waters have been still since Dale Hansen unplugged himself from ranting and raving at WFAA. But never fear! Community Council of Greater Dallas has awakened the unbridled curmudgeon and will have him as the keynote speaker on Thursday, November 9, to celebrate its 80th anniversary.
The theme “Be The Change Gala” is courtesy of Mahatma Gandhi’s “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Since 1943 that philosophy has been the foundation for the organization’s mission to enable each individual to achieve his or her potential by creating:
- Vital communities in which individuals and families are stable and achieve economic security;
- Communities where people live healthy lives with maximum independence and resilience; and
- Communities where people are engaged in building opportunities.
Besides Dale being the main event, the evening will include a cocktail reception and dinner.
Taking place at the Dallas Arts District Mansion, the event offers individual tickets and sponsorships ranging from $2,500 to $25,000 that are available here.
