JUST IN: Doing The Most Good Is Doing Exactly That With A Couple of Lisas, Simmons and Emanuelsons

Mar 21, 2023 5:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

With these recent wool-friendly temperatures, it only makes sense to think about late fall activities. One of them is The Salvation Army of North Texas’ “Doing the Most Good Luncheon” that seems to kick off the holidays to come.

So it’s no surprise that plans are already taking shape for the 2023 fundraiser luncheon.

It was just officially announced that this year’s event co-chairs will be a double dose of Lisa — both Lisa Cooley and Lisa Singleton.

Adding to the power team of “doing the most good,” the Lisas have power couple Claire and Dwight Emanuelson to serve as the underwriting co-chairs.

As if this team wasn’t enough to send fundraisers into a dizzy, they’ve managed to have a couple of literal philanthropic A-listers as honorary co-chairs — Annette Simmons and her daughter Amy Simmons Crafton.

The two Lisas have already locked down the much-in-demand, fundraising venue Hilton Anatole for Thursday, November 16, the week before Thanksgiving.

The team plans to announce the speaker before April showers replace March’s cold shoulder.

But why wait? Sponsorships and tickets are available now.
