For the 26th Annual Pot of Gold Luncheon, Event Co-Chairs Brittany and Caleb Bachelor have arranged to have “celebrated author, philanthropist and powerhouse speaker” Coach Ken Carter to be the keynote speaker for the Rainbow Days fundraiser.
The subject of the hit movie, “Coach Carter,” that starred Samuel L. Jackson, Ken made national news for “suspending his undefeated basketball team due to poor academic performance.”
It’s the importance that he placed on education as a priority that made him an advocate for mentoring and working to enable “disadvantage youth to reach their full academic and life potential.”
Taking place on Friday, May 5, at the Westin Galleria, the fundraiser will support Rainbow Days’ mission to “help children and youth in adversity build coping skills and resilience to create positive futures.
Tickets are going for $200 with sponsorships ranging from $2,000 to $50,000 here!
Why just get one place at the table? Why not take a youngster or teacher along for an inspiring opportunity?
