First the not-so-great-news: North Texas weather guessers are waving red flags about Friday being a stormy day especially in the afternoon.
Now for the thank-heaven-news: Friday’s obnoxious weather will be gone in time for Saturday night’s 2022 Zoo To Do‘s “Wild and Wonderful” at the Dallas Zoo, with temperatures simply ideal for those cashmere sweaters and scarves you’ve been dying to pull out of the closet.
And to get the fundraising engines warmed up, Zoo To Do Co-Chairs Marena and Roger Gault have just revealed the live auction packages up for bidding that include:
- Behind-the-scenes tour of the Dallas Zoo’s giraffe barn, followed by a chef-prepared dinner and specialty cocktails for 10 at the Simmons Family Base Camp in the Zoo’s Giants of the Savanna area.
- Twenty lucky couples get an amazing evening at the Hall Arts Hotel, with live music, ambassador animals from the Zoo, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, in May 2023.
- A perennial favorite – a private dinner for you and your guests with a dinner in your home prepared by all-star chefs from some of Dallas’ most popular restaurants.
Plus, they report that the Zoo To Do’s silent auction and raffle page is alive and up for bidding here. So, that means if you can’t make it to the really big event, you can stay in your jammies and still support the Zoo by scoring a winning bid.
