With fall getting closer and closer, the season’s favorite subject is on the minds of many. It starts with “f.” No, it’s not football. It’s fashion. The latest fashion event to check in with details is the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League’s 2022 Fashion Notes.
DSOL President Cynthia Beaird and Fashion Notes Co-Chairs Sharon Lee Clark and Kira Nasrat have just revealed that this year’s Designer Awardee will be accessory designer Lele Sadoughi, who has worked with Rebecca Taylor, Ippolita, Banana Republic, Anthropologie and Neiman Marcus.
In addition to launching J. Crew’s jewelry collection in 2006, Lele “held the Jewelry Design Director role at Tory Burch before starting her own brand in 2012″ with customers including Kate Middleton, Lady Gaga, Nicole Kidman, Mindy Kaling, Jennifer Lopez and Naomi Campbell. Lele’s talents have run the gamut from “designing maximal costume jewelry, collectible headbands, jeweled sunglasses, specialty handbags and more.”
In addition to the presentation of the award, a seated luncheon and live auction at the Fairmont Dallas on Thursday, October 13, the runway will feature St. John fashions modeled by League members and their families, past and present DSOL debs and member of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra family.
And speaking of former DSOL debs, deb graduate/past Assembly President/ jewelry designer Fallon Bock and Bachendorf’s are donating a piece of jewelry for the live auction.
Tables sponsorships range from $3,000 to $15,000, with individual tickets going for $300 to $500 if available. Funds raised through the event will “support the Outreach and Education Programs [the orchestra] offers to children and adults throughout Dallas and the surrounding area.”
