Just because Valentine’s Day is traditionally celebrated on February 14, doesn’t mean that that loving spirit can’t take place on another day… especially if the pandemic has delayed it. That’s exactly what happened for the traditional Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of North Texas’ annual fundraiser.
Due to a slow get-into-gear for North Texas fundraisers, 2022 St. Valentine’s Day Fashion Show and Luncheon Chair Lisa Loy Laughlin rescheduled the event to Monday, May 16, at the Meyerson.
And while there were a couple of awardees that were unable to juggle their schedules to fit the occasion, Lynda Adleta Heart Of Gold Awardee Susie Barnett and Spirit of Tom Landry Awardee Amelia Dammen inspired the crowd to raise funds while thoroughly enjoying the Highland Park Village fashions (Alice and Oliviae, Etro, Hadleigh’s, Herrera, Lela Rose, Market, St. Michael’s Women’s Exchange and Veronica Beard) on the runway.
While the post is being finished up, check out the faces and fashions at MySweetCharity Photo Gallery. There are more than 100 of ‘em.
