It may not be football season, but the Dallas Cowboys players aren’t ho-humming on couches playing video games. For example, while Children’s Cancer Fund Gala‘s Honorary Chair Roger Staubach has opted to take a place on the sidelines, current Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has volunteered to fill the honorary slot alongside former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman.
Another Dallas Cowboys wunderkind, #21 Zeke Elliott, is also in play to support North Texas non-profits by being on stage for the After- School All-Stars North Texas‘ Rising Stars Luncheon on Wednesday, May 4, at Brook Hollow Golf Club.
Evidently Zeke’s following has resulted in a near sold-out fundraiser with a scant few seats still available.
According to Rising Stars Co-Chair Marybeth Conlon,”We are thrilled that this year’s luncheon, after last year’s in-person cancellation, has been embraced by such a diverse group of donors. This type of support validates the importance of After School All Stars programming in North Texas.”
If it’s not too late, you might still be able to snap up a place to see and hear from the Zeke-ster.
