Change Of Plans Alert: Emily’s Place Is Changing Plans For Kevin Costner And Modern West Band

Mar 9, 2022 9:30 AM by Jeanne Prejean

Remember how a North Texas whoop-and-holler went up last week when it was announced that Kevin Costner (aka “Yellowstone”‘s John Dutton) was bringing his Modern West band to the area to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Emily’s Place at the Black Ties And Grassroots celebration?

Well, it seems that organizers are having to rethink their game plan. Was it too much to hope for?

Rest easy, Kevin is still coming. Due to the tsunami response (is anyone surprised… seriously?), event planners have had to change the venue.

Emily’s Place Change of Plans*

According to Emily’s Place’s Camille Kraeplin, “Interest really spiked once we announced that Kevin Costner would appear at the event, so we’ve changed the venues. The new location is Gaylord Texan Resort. Since that venue doubles our capacity, individual tickets are once again available.”

Don’t you just know that if Kevin were to bring along Cole “Rip” Hauser and/or Kelly “Beth” Reilly,  they would probably have to move the whole kit-and-caboodle to AT&T Stadium.

The news is so hot off the presses that the Emily’s Place website hasn’t been updated! But if you call 972.424.7775, you can lock down your spot before it’s too late. Then go shopping for your fav cowboy wear and get your hair stylist to do a Teeter pink color job.
