After this past weekend, the outdoor sniff of roasting pinon wood and the aroma of soup on the stove are better than Lalique’s “Seduction.” And as if perfectly timed, The Stewpot Alliance announced its plans for the 2022 Soup’s On! fundraiser at its annual Fall Party at Saint Rocco’s New York Italian in the Trinity Groves campus.
The 2022 Co-Chairs Carolyn Jefferson and Thella Bowens and Honorary Co-Chairs Venise and Larry Stuart are pulling together soups and chefs for the fundraiser with a return to the Hilton Anatole on Thursday, February 17.

Ironically, the luncheon is scheduled on the anniversary of the 2021 deep freeze. Don’t you just know you’ve been waiting to learn some new soupy recipes?
Longtime Soup’s On! Chieftain/33 Restaurant Group Chef Brian Luscher will be wrangling some of the area’s top chefs to not only serve up their soups but also share some take-home recipes.
Adding to the luncheon’s festivities will be FitMenCook Founder Kevin Curry, who had provided “an online community that inspires men and women to eat and stay fit with healthy recipes.”
If you’re not one of Kevin’s 2M+ followers, you will be after the luncheon.

Looking even farther into the future, Christy Coltrin and Brad Oldham will be co-chairing the 2023 Soup’s On!
Funds raised from Soup’s On! 2022 and 2023 will go to support The Stewpot‘s mission to provide “a safe haven for homeless and at-risk individuals of Dallas, providing resources for basic survival needs, as well as opportunities to start a new life.”
