After simply eons spent holding its annual Dine by Design with loads of beautifully decorated tables for members-only at Northwood Club, the Northwood Woman’s Club is on the move. Club President Phyllis Farragut‘s really ramped up the event by relocating to Galleria Dallas with professional designers (Garden Gate Floral Design, Swoon, Gary Riggs Home and Marquee Event Rentals), Galleria Dallas merchants (Nordstrom and Make Your Life Sweeter) and very talented volunteers for its annual fundraiser.
Thanks to an array of themes (The Night They Invented Champagne, You Say It’s Your Birthday, Talk Derby To Me, Nutcracker Suite, Mermaid Christmas, Patriotic Picnic and Thanksgiving Buffet), the dozens of tablescapes will be on the menu at Level One at Galleria Dallas near Grand Lux Café to check out from Friday, October 29 through Sunday, November 14, Tuesday thru Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
According to Event Chair Laura Williamson, “We’re thrilled to be able to share these amazing table designs with thousands of North Texans through our partnership with Galleria Dallas.”
But before the looks of table dressing go public, there will be a luncheon where guests will be able to get a sneak preview of the table looks of the season just in time for the holidays, plus a presentation by MasterChef and Food Network Chef/cookbook author Katie Dixon, a silent auction and a purse sale with surprise winnings inside each bag.
Beneficiaries from the fundraiser include Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center, Community Partners of Dallas, Grant Halliburton Foundation, Hope Supply and New Friends New Life.
While Luncheon tickets are available now for $125 per person, the public viewing tickets going for $10 won’t be available until Friday, October 1.
