NorthStar Luncheon Co-Chairs Susan Jenevein and Candace Winslow just revealed a double-doozy of news about the Family Compass luncheon on Monday, April 22, at the Dallas Country Club.
First, Tolleson Wealth Management has come on board as the presenting sponsor.
According to Family Compass Executive Director Ona Foster, “We are so grateful to Tolleson Wealth Management for serving as our presenting sponsor of this important fundraiser for Family Compass. The funds raised through this luncheon will support critical in-home mentoring and parent education services for struggling families. These services work in synergy to stop child abuse and neglect before they happen. The team at Tolleson Wealth Management is clearly dedicated to helping us end the cycle of abuse and creating bright futures for all children in our community.”
Second, with less than ten days to go, they’re nearing a sell-out.
Regarding the limited number of places available, Candace reported, “We have just a handful of tables left, so please make plans now to join us. In addition to a lovely seated lunch, the event will feature a personal and reflective conversation with former WFAA lead anchor Gloria Campos as she shares her perspective on the changes she observed in families in Dallas during her 40 years as a journalist, as well as a 20-year producer of WFAA’s ‘Wednesday’s Child.’ As well, we are honored to recognize The Rosewood Foundation, a long-standing supporter of Family Compass’ mission to prevent child abuse and neglect.”
