JUST IN: Sunie Solomon And Amy Turner To Co-Chair 2018 Texas Trailblazer Awards Luncheon

Jun 7, 2018 1:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

Two former Cattle Baron’s Ball chairs are partnering up to co-chair The Family Place’s 2018 Texas Trailblazer Awards Luncheon. The two are Amy Turner, who chaired CBB in 2005, and Sunie Solmon, who just finished up last year’s CBB.

According to The Family Place CEO Paige Flink, “We are so honored to have Amy and Sunie spearheading this year’s Texas Trailblazer Awards Luncheon as co-chairs. Both women have been huge philanthropic advocates in the community and involved with The Family Place, and have helped raise funds for the resources we provide to those facing domestic violence in our community.”

The gals have already lined up the honorary co-chairs — Sammye and Mike Myers — and settled on a date and place for the annual luncheon that will be part of The Family Place’s 40th anniversary celebration. It will be held on Wednesday, September 26, at the Omni Hotel Dallas.

Stay tuned for the names of the Trailblazer awardees and the keynote speaker. In the meantime, you can register here!
