Thursday, November 29: Get your calendars out because the avalanche of events is starting to roar in. If you didn’t get to Artful Bowl last year at Mary Tomas Studio Gallery on Dragon, then you’re in luck. Event Chair Karol Wilson has arranged for a repeat of the fundraiser where local artists display for sale their pet bowl creations.
And, yes, we know the next question — the bowls are fired in a kiln with non-toxic glaze. Oh, that wasn’t the next question? Oops, that was the third question. Ah, yes, now we know. The answer to your second question is, “Yes, there are bowls for both dogs and cats.”
It’s $20 at the door with your being treated to hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer. Proceeds from the evening go to support the spay/neuter program of the SPCA/of Texas.
