If you’re totally turkeyed out, take heart. That ever-loving Chef Sharon Van Meter feels your pain and has come up with the perfect respite.
On Tuesday, November 28, from 6 to 8 p.m., she’ll share her “Favorite Things: A Dallas Arboretum Food And White Festival Event.”
Showcasing the yummy goods thanks to Sharon’s foodie pals like Chef Nikky Phinyawatana of Asian Mint; Chef Katherine Clapner of Dude, Sweet Chocolate; Jordan Swim of Vestal’s Catering; Jeff Bednar of Profound Farms; and Donna Collins-Yamini of The Jelly Queen, there will be 12 tastings (four savory, four sweets and four drinks).
The grazing around will be highlighted by beverages from Southern Glazer’s Wines and Spirits, plus Lucca and Livvy’s “organic, cold-pressed exotic fruit and plant-based juices.”
To walk off the evening’s wining and dining, guests will be able to stroll around the grounds that will be all dressed up with the 12 Days of Christmas, the Dazzling Musical Tree and the ever-popular Christmas Village.
For those who seek their eye treasures indoors, the DeGolyer House will be ideal with Santa Clauses, nativities and nutcrackers.
Tickets are $79 for adult Arboretum members and $99 for non-members and are available here.
