Children’s Cancer Fund blasted news yesterday about its annual fundraiser despite all types of weather threats.
Taking place at Frisco’s The Star, it was announced that the Children’s Cancer Fund gala at the Hilton Anatole on Friday, April 19, resulted in handing over a check for $2.1M to Children’s Health!
Making the announcement were CCF Executive Director Jennifer Arthur, Children’s Medical Center Foundation President Brent Christopher and new mom and pop Sara Jane Ramos and Dak Prescott, plus three-month-old MJ Rose Prescott.
As Gala Honorary Co-Chair Dak said, “This event has my heart and always will.”
Upon hearing the announcement, 2024 CCF model Cannon McGough summed it up perfectly — “That’s a lot of money!”
Moving ahead, it was also revealed that Lori Jones and Meredith Land will co-chair CCF’s 35th anniversary fundraiser.
According to Jennifer, “These funds raised from the 34th annual Children’s Cancer Fund Gala will go directly to cancer research, children life services and a new mental health initiative.”
