With all of the recent beautiful weather, the Katy Trail has been filled with people and pups. Behind the scenes, folks may not realize that the natural beauty isn’t all thanks to Mother Nature. There are also donors and a board of director raising funds, creating events and maintaining this gem for the city.
Regarding the board, there have been new additions including Kellie Adkins, Bela Cooley, Paul Howell, William H. James and Suzan Kedron.
They’ll be replacing retiring board members Buddy Cramer, Sam Dalton, Bess Dickson, William Hartwell, Bina Patel and Eric Paulson.
BTW, now is a perfect time to join the Friends Of The Katy Trail. Plans call for the members to have a party at Lucky Dog Saloon in April, along with the Major Donor Party in May at The Terminal at Katy Trail.
