With a goal of encouraging collaboration among North Texas LGBTQIA+ organizations, Dallas Hope Charities (DHC) is holding its inaugural Non-Profit Speed Networking Mixer on Wednesday, February 28, at Sue Ellen’s – 2nd Floor.
As DHC CEO Tamika Perry explained, “As we embark on this groundbreaking Non-Profit Speed Networking Mixer, our vision extends beyond traditional networking. This event is a catalyst for meaningful connections, creating a collective impact that transcends organizational boundaries. We hope to foster a community where resources are shared, and information is not siloed. Together, we can create a tapestry of support, empowerment, and positive change for all members of our LGBTQIA+ community.”
According to organizers, “The event not only marks a milestone for DHC but represents a significant step towards fostering a more connected and supportive community. It’s an opportunity for affirming service providers to break free from traditional networking constraints, promoting inclusivity, collaboration, and positive change.”
Dallas Hopes “is a Dallas-based nonprofit that supports Dallas’ LGBTQIA+ community and is on a mission to provide food, shelter, and services that instill dignity, stability and hope for all.”
With attendance limited to two representatives per organization, the deadline for registration is Friday, February 16.
