If you were planning on checking out Dallas CASA’s annual Parade of Playhouse this July, you need to know it’s going to be happening sooner than you think. This year the collection of children’s cottages that will be raffled off will be on display starting Friday, June 14.

Yipes! That’s earlier than usual. Needless to say, area builders are hard at work to produce the adorable creations that will be on display at NorthPark Center. During its 17-day run ending Sunday, June 30, the Parade is expected to have more than one million people see the lineup of houses.
Presented by Crest Cadillac/Crest Infiniti/Crest Volvo, the display of children’s cottages is always a surprise, with last year’s collection ranging from a rocket ship, Hobbit House, and a yellow submarine to a caddy shack.
Stay tuned for more details about the raffle, the number of playhouses, builders, designers, etc. Why, the 2024 Parade Of Playhouses isn’t even up on the Dallas CASA website yet.
But you can circle 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, when the winning raffle tickets will be drawn.
Funds raised support Dallas CASA’s mission to protect children, restore childhood and help child victims of abuse or neglect achieve their full potential. Celebrating its 44th years, Dallas CASA “serves more children than any of the more than 900 CASA programs nationwide. In 2023, 1,240 Dallas CASA volunteers were assigned to advocate for 2,151 children in protective care. For the past five years, the agency has been able to provide an advocate for every Dallas child in need.”
