News has just galloped in that there’s been an abrupt change of leadership at Equest. The long and short of it is that Myrshem George, who was named the equine therapeutic program’s CEO in April 2023, has “departed.”
Taking the organization’s reins as interim CEO will be Equest Board Co-Chair Lisa Loy Laughlin, who has for many years supported Equest.
In addition to her North Texas philanthropic efforts over the years, she has had a very special relationship with Equest due to her granddaughter Elizabeth Laughlin‘s work with the organization.
