According to 3rd Annual Mother’s Brunch Honorary Co-Chair Lili Luth,
“On behalf of the Nexus Recovery Center and the Auxiliary of Nexus, I invite you to our Mothers’ Brunch and Bazaar, to be held on Monday, April 15, at ‘a local country club.’ This event celebrates mothers, grandmothers, and all the women in our lives while raising money for Nexus Recovery Center in its mission to serve as a community of hope and recovery for mothers and their children who strive to live healthy, resilient lives, free from substance use disorders.
“Now in its third year, the 2024 Mothers’ Brunch will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring a delectable spread of brunch favorites as well as a raffle. This year, the Mothers’ Brunch will also include a Bazaar selling a variety of boutique gifts for mothers and other loved ones in our lives. This is an amazing event, and I am proud to be honorary co-chair this year, alongside Laura G. Sahliyeh.
“The Mothers’ Brunch is hosted by the Auxiliary of Nexus, an organization whose mission is to support and promote the interests of Nexus Recovery Center by putting in countless volunteer hours each year: planning and implementing special events to raise money for Nexus. Since its founding in 1996, the Auxiliary of Nexus has made a difference for women and children seeking recovery – and has managed to have a lot of fun along the way!
“Nexus Recovery Center is one of the few treatment centers in Texas that serves pregnant women at all stages of pregnancy, before and after childbirth, and invites women to bring their children with them into treatment. By treating both women and their children, Nexus ensures that mothers with substance use disorders can receive needed services to rebuild their lives and heal alongside their families.
“Tickets to the 2024 Mothers’ Brunch and Bazaar are $250 per person, and sponsorship opportunities are available. To purchase tickets or for more information about sponsorship opportunities, please visit nexusrecovery.org/brunch.”
