According to the 2024 Saint Valentine’s Day Luncheon and Fashion Show Co-Chairs Brooke Shelby and Samantha Wortley:

“Since its inception 40 years ago, by founders Rusty Duvall and Janet Evans, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Saint Valentine’s Day Luncheon and Fashion Show has raised more than $15 million for research in Texas, including UT Southwestern Medical Center.

“In addition to a fabulous runway show, produced by the inimitable Jan Strimple and featuring the latest spring fashions from Highland Park Village retailers, LLS will also recognize five community members with its 2024 awards including Rusty Duvall and Janet Evans with the ICON Award, Moll Anderson with the Lynda Adleta Heart of Gold Award, Campbell Fearing with the Spirit of Tom Landry Award and the late Ryan Anthony with the Memorial Hero Award.
“Your support of the luncheon will provide education and support for patients and families as we help advance therapy used by blood cancer patients as well as fund today’s most promising advances, including immunotherapy genomics and precision medicine.
