The Family Place‘s ever-loving, ever-shopping 2023 Partners Card officially kicked off this morning at NorthPark’s Eataly with a brunch on the third level. Despite the clammy weather, the gathering of the well-heeled stiletto set — including 2023 Partners Card Co-Chairs Sharon Lee Clark and Kameron Westcott (Co-Chair Katy Brooks was MIA due to a prior wedding commitment), Neiman Marcus VP Scott Mitchell with his wife Judy Mitchell, NorthParkies [Kimberly Schlegel Whitman, Kristen Gibbins, Meredith Hays and Shelby Foster], Theresa Parkinson and Kristin Hallam in Dolce and Gabbana short majolica-print brocade dress with matching Majolica-print canvas wedge sandals — was reminiscent of racehorses preparing to break for a run around the track.
Only in this case, it was hitting the Partners Card retailers through the center. It was easy to spot the shops that were supporting The Family Place program. A cluster of red and purple balloons were in front of the storefronts.
But before the gals put those cards to use, they had to energize on carbs and a light but healthy main course.
After the official welcome by Sharon, Kameron, The Family Place Interim CEO/COO Tiffany McDaniel, Family Place Board member Lindsay Jacaman and a representative of 2023 Partners Card Presenting Sponsor Back of Texas, servers presented the main course to guests as models strolled among the tables showing the finds to be gleaned from NorthPark merchants.
While the guests brunched away, merchants like Eiseman Jewels were preparing to welcome the bargain seekers with even more beverages and goodies.
If you haven’t gotten your card yet, do so because it translates into 20% discounts at retail establishments and 10% off at restaurants until Sunday, November 5. There are more than 700 DFW stores and restaurants participating in this year’s fundraiser.
Thanks to the Partners Card program that was launched in 1993, more than $20M has benefited the largest family violence agency in Texas.
