
North Texas non-profits love the opportunity when someone provides the chance to be a beneficiary, especially during the last quarter of the year.
Well, shoot, they actually love it anytime of the year.
But for the third year in a row, Park Place Dealerships is putting the shout out for DFW non-profits to be part of its Park Place Cares’ Season of Giving Campaign that will spread the love with $100,000.
In order to qualify, the following requirements are necessary:
- Organization must file an IRS 501(c)(3) or be deemed a nonprofit under federal law.
- Cannot have already received funds or in-kind support from any Park Place Dealership in 2023.
- Must support DFW local counties: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Rockwall, Tarrant and Wise County.
- Organization or beneficiaries of the organization must fall within one of the Park Place Cares Four Pillars of Giving: Advocacy, Arts, Education and Medical Research.
- Organizations that have been known for excessive overhead or lack of direct support will not be considered.
- If your organization has ever been in the news due to negative or bad business, your application will automatically be disqualified.
- 2022 Park Place Season of Giving grant recipients are not eligible.
- Before taking the time to submit your request, please note that Park Place does not provide assistance to: organizations outside of local communities in which it operates, individuals, organizations for religious or political purposes, individual groups or teams within a school or university (e.g., yearbook, athletic teams, band, etc.), pageants or talent competitions and/or third parties raising money on behalf of a nonprofit.
Before submitting your application, here are some requirements for the organizations that are selected:
- Recipient of grant must be able to provide a W9 and invoice within five (5) business days of being notified as a recipient.
- Chosen organization must be willing to send out an email blast to their supporter and donor base announcing the grant. Email template will be provided by Park Place Dealerships and cannot be altered unless approved by a member of the Grant Committee.
- If awarded, the organization also agrees to post on their official social media accounts including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Approved graphics and verbiage will be provided by Park Place Dealerships and cannot be altered without approval from a member of the Grant Committee.
- A representative from the receiving organization must be willing to provide a quote on the impact of the funds and agree to take a PR-related photo for Park Place Dealerships to use in advertising or media.
- Special consideration will be given to those who submit for specific projects or programs seeking funding. When applying, please provide information on the project and/or program and how the funds would be used.
- If the organization is selected for a grant amount over $10,000, Park Place is to be included at a signature event or additional exposure opportunities within organization.
Applications must be submitted by Monday, October 30.
The recipients will be announced the week of November 13.
