One of North Texas’ natural gems is gleaming with a truly unique occasion. The Trinity River Audubon Center’s 2023 Songbird Supper will take place in the heart of one of the area’s most marvelous settings with the fitting theme “Feast in the Forest.”
On Saturday, October 21, an almost neverending lineup of white tableclothed dinner tables will have the Great Trinity Forest as the backdrop as guests dine on a menu created by Chef Justo Blanco for the Center’ fundraiser.
2023 Songbird Supper Chair Grady McGahan has arranged to have Cecilia and Garrett Boone as the honorary co-chairs.
While sponsorships range from $2,500 to $15,000, a limited number of individual tickets will possibly be available closer to the event.
Funds raised through the event will “help support the Center’s educational and conservation mission, connecting all to nature and inspiring the next generation of conservation leaders, while protecting birds and the places they need, today and tomorrow.” As the late noted American ecologist Dr. Thomas Lovejoy said, “If you take care of the birds, you take care of most of the big problems in the world.”
