According to Dream Center Dallas Director Kacie Kintz,
“At Dream Center Dallas, we want to help children and their families in need of assistance start the new school year off on the right foot. On Saturday, August 5, at 10 a.m. until supplies last, Dream Center Dallas volunteers are hosting the annual Back to School Drive to distribute free school supplies, clear backpacks, and shoes (available in many sizes) to families that may otherwise not be able to provide their children with all the supplies needed for the school year ahead. The event will be held in the parking lot of our new Dream Center Dallas building that is currently being renovated at 1900 S. Ewing Ave., Dallas, TX 75216.
“Families will also be able to enjoy rides, games, prizes and food during the event to celebrate a new school year full of positive opportunities.
“We hope to be able to provide relief to parents in the area and give children the opportunity to start school feeling prepared.
“For anyone who is in the position and able to help, we are asking for volunteers to help work the event, funding donations, and donations from our Amazon Wishlist to be distributed at the event.
