Turtle Creek Conservancy Has A Double Header Of News With Name Adjustment And Luminary Dinner Plans

Feb 3, 2023 1:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

While North Texas tundra is thawing out, the Turtle Creek Conservancy have been moving ahead the announcement of its 2023 Luminary Dinner and the Converancy’s name adjustment.

Starting with the Luminary, this year’s invitation-only dinner honoring the Conservancy’s top donors will be chaired by Pam Busbee on Thursday, November 9, at longtime supporters Lynn and Peter Dauterman’s estate.

According to Conservancy President Tiffany Divis, “The Luminary Dinner is a way to recognized and honor supporters at a lovely, seated dinner with minimal remarks which allows the guests to socialize and enjoy a comfortable evening of great food and wine.”

The first Luminary event took place last fall at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek with Pat and Charles McEvoy handling the co-chairing duties.

As for the “name adjustment,” the Conservancy is still the Conservancy. But it is now officially called “Turtle Creek Park Conservancy” and has a brand, spanking new logo to go with the newish moniker.
