The Visiting Nurse Association of Texas’ (VNA) fiscal year started last Friday, and along with it came five new board members to provide “fiduciary and strategic direction for the non-profit that helps people age with dignity and independence at home.”
Board Chair Eugenia King announced that the new members are Christian Evans, Dr. Robert L. Fine, Christi Morrow, Luke Pak and Yesenia Reyes.
The five will be joining VNA board officers Chair-Elect Kevin Eden, Treasurer Andres Villareal, Secretary Jordan Brainerd and returning members Mary Frances Bellman, Cathy Bryan, Mike Casey, Michelle Chase, Julie D. Clark, Catherine A. Corrigan, Matthew R. Craft, Levi H. Davis, Effie Dennison, Kathleen Gibson, Kelby Hagar, Benjamin Isgur, Kirsten Kerrigan, Bob Krakow, Louise Marsh, Pressley H. Peters, Carolyn Rathjen, Kersten Rettig, Camisha L. Simmons, Chris L. Simmons, Denice Swift, Alok Vaish and Jim Walton.
Established in 1934, VNA not only “provides Meals on Wheels in Dallas County, it also offers VNA Hospice Care, Palliative Care and Pediatric Hospice Care in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Henderson, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Rockwall, Tarrant, Van Zandt and Wise counties.”
