Starting Friday, July 1, the Vogel Alcove board of directors will have a new chair and members to support “its therapeutic early childhood services, school-age programs and family support services for homeless children and their families.”
The new chair is Ann Marie Painter, who has served on the board for the past 18 years. She will head up the Vogel Alcove board cabinet that includes Past Chair Scott Wilson, Vice-Chair and Development Andrew Lauck, Treasurer Chris Pfirrman, Strategy David Cho, Governance John Wander and Members-At-Large Andrew Rosen, Alex Holmes, John Ofenloch, Lori Whitten and Lauren Leahy.
According to Ann Marie, “As a long-time supporter and board member, I am thrilled and honored to serve as chair for Vogel Alcove’s board of directors. I look forward to supporting Vogel Alcove’s expansion of services so that we can assist more families in the Dallas Metroplex. The board will also be focused on helping Vogel Alcove achieve its goals in the area of diversity, equity and inclusion – for our staff, our children and their families, and at the board level.”
The four new members on the 40-member board include Sherice Brown, Banks Bruce, Aliah Henry and Tomieka Polk.
