Formerly known as Dallas Junior Forum, Dallas Service Forum (DSF) has a newly elected slate of officers for the 2022-2023 year. 2021-2022 President Julie Crowley, who will serve as advisor to the president, announced the following officers: 2022-2023 President Marla Nunally, VP of Development Lexia Allen, VP of Service Betty Cooper, VP of Membership Kathy Havel, VP of Communications Marilyn Ferris, Treasurer Valerie McMahan, Secretary Alice Freidline and President-Elect/Parliamentarian Ginny Delflache.
According to Julie, “We are proud and grateful to welcome these seasoned volunteers to the DSF Board. These new members have previously served DSF in a variety of leadership roles, and their perspective and experience will add great value as we continue to fulfill DSF’s mission and vision of ‘services from the heart’.”
Established in 1977, DSF has “donated hundreds of thousands of volunteer services hours to the charitable agencies it supports and has donated more than $1M in direct grants and non-grants to worthy non-profit organizations throughout the greater Dallas area.”
Groups currently benefiting from DJF’s support include Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, The Ebby House at Juliette Fowler Communities, The Family Place, Hope’s Door New Beginning Center, Juliette Fowler Communities, Network of Community Ministries, Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, Frisco Family Services and Vogel Alcove.
