Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary Fashion Show And Luncheon Chair Nikki Webb’s cup runneth over. Or, perhaps in her case it should be, her closet is jammed to the max. With the loads of outfits and accessories being held over from last year’s COVID-canceled Dallas’ Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary fundraiser chaired by Kim Hext, Nikki already had a healthy serving of clothes to sell and feature on the runway at the Meyerson on Tuesday, May 3. And evidently the flow of clothes has continued under her leadership.
With more than 1,500 items already gathered, Nikki has created a “new and potentially one-time-only event” stemming from the Chic Boutique that traditionally takes place the morning of the fashion show and luncheon.
According to Nikki, “Since we have two plus years of gorgeous donated clothing and couture (and more coming in daily!), we are going to have a ‘The First Look Chic Boutique’ event, which will be held on Monday, April 25, and Tuesday, April 26. I am hoping this will provide an opportunity for those that have purchased packages or tickets to shop the Chic Boutique before the Fashion Show And Luncheon.”
As for tickets, there are so many opportunities, ranging from individual tickets going for $300 to the $100,000 Presenting Sponsor. And don’t you just know that the bigger the ticket, the greater the perks like patron party invites, VIP cashiers and personal bidding assistants, etc.
Early bird shopper’s tip: For the eager-beaver shopper, there’s a Chic Boutique Shopping Pass going for $100 that entitles the fashion show and luncheon attendee to an early entry to both the First Look and the Chic Boutique.
Funds raised through the event will benefit the Salvation Army of North Texas‘ mission to combat poverty, addiction and homelessness in North Texas. Since its inception in 1993, Dallas SAWA’s Fashion Show And Luncheon has raised over $15 million to support services provided at 14 local Salvation Army facilities.
