With hospitals hitting new records of COVID cases and testing sites stretching over acres throughout North Texas, some very tough calls are being made about upcoming fundraisers.
One of the first to readjust plans was The Senior Source’s Spirit of Generations Luncheon honoring Kathy and Larry Helm and presenting The Molly H. Bogen Service Award to the Junior League of Dallas.
Originally scheduled for Thursday, January 13, at the Hilton Anatole, Luncheon Chair Robin Bagwell and The Senior Source President/CEO Stacey Malcolmson have rescheduled the fundraising event to Tuesday, March 1, in the Anatole’s Grand Ballroom.
According to Stacey, “We could not and did not want to exacerbate the dire situation the hospitals and our community are in. We kept hoping for a turnaround but, alas, it was not meant to be.”
In addition to the main event, there will still be pre-luncheon VIP reception sponsored by Bank of Texas.
Funds resulting from the luncheon will support the much needed services and program provided for the elderly in greater Dallas.
