Equest Women’s Auxiliary 2022 Luncheon and Fashion Show Chair Shannon Graham is getting all her ducks in a row. Having locked down the date (Tuesday, October 4) and the place (Brook Hollow Golf Club) with fashions from Highland Park Village under the direction of Jan Strimple, she’s already arranged for some familiar names in philanthropy on board to highlight the occasion.

In addition to having Equest stalwart Lisa Cooley serve as honorary chair, Shannon has announced that the recipient of the Equest Community Service Award will be presented to philanthropist, civic leader and Equest supporter Sarah Losinger.
Sarah will be joining an elite group of women whose contributions over the years have earned accolades. Past awardees include Auxiliary founder Louise Griffeth, Sandra Cude, Pam Dealey Petty, Carol Huckin, Linda Secrest, Lydia Haggar Novakov, Dian Moore, Linda Perryman Evans, Dee Wyly and Emily Wyly, Mar Nell Bell and Bonnie Harding and Patti Brown, Jan Myers, Karen Shuttee, Nancy Carter, Debbie Oates, Helen McGraw, Lindalyn Adams, Elisa Summers and Heather Washburne, Elsa Norwood, Lisa Troutt and Robyn Conlon.
Funds raised from the champagne reception, fashion show and seated luncheon will support Equest’s mission “to enhance the quality of life for children and adults, including veterans, with diverse needs by partnering with horses to bring hope and healing through equine-assisted activities and therapies.”
