North Texans are probably grateful not to be living in the northeast. That area is suffering through a nasty Nor’easter. Think of last February’s frigid weather grinding things to a literal stop compounded with snow measured in feet.
But use this blast as a warning of the days to come. While it won’t be as dramatic as the Bomb Cyclone hitting New York, it’s gonna be time to get out those downs jackets and hit grocery stores for the makings of soup and hot chocolate.
While weather maps are still in flux, meteorologists are predicting a good chance of rain on Wednesday throughout the day and nighttime temperatures in the 20s. Thursday morning just may have snow showers with the day’s temperatures ranging from 15 to 30 degrees.
Luckily, Friday the sun will come out, but the high is only liable to hit a high of 39 degrees.
P.S. — Please make sure that your sprinkler system has a couple of days off.
