According to Klyde Warren Park volunteer Lynn McBee,
“Wishing everyone who loves or has used Klyde Warren Park this past year to make any size donation toward keeping it clean, safe and active, understanding that the Park is self-supporting and has remained open and active throughout the pandemic.
“With its traditional revenue sources gone for so much of the last 18 months (event sponsorships, Park rentals, restaurant revenue, etc.), it has taken a hit with operating dollars, yet continues to function in a robust way, knowing its importance for those in the community looking to be outside.
“It has also not been eligible to receive shuttered venue grant dollars, because it does not charge admission for performances, but rather puts them on for free. ”
