JUST IN: 2021 Cattle Baron’s Ball Netted $3,665,700 For American Cancer Society Of North Texas Research

Nov 12, 2021 1:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

2020/2021 Cattle Baron’s Ball Co-Chairs Diana Hamilton and Heather Randall closed their epic journey of raising funds for the American Cancer Society of North Texas’ cancer research today. Not satisfied with netting $1,413,213 last year during the pandemic that played havoc with the committee of 100’s activities, Diana and Heather extended their efforts into 2021 by co-chairing a blowout CBB fundraiser at Gilley’s last month.

The results? It was announced at the CBB’s fall luncheon at Truluck’s this afternoon that Diana and Heather and their baronesses had netted… not raised… netted a whopping $3,665,700.

In other words, the two long drinks of water planned, pivoted and produced a total of $5,078,913 for cancer research in North Texas despite nearly two of the toughest fundraising years in history.

Congratulations to Diana and Heather and the baronesses for coming through for those battling cancer.

In the meantime, 2022 CBB Co-Chairs Nancy Gopez and Kris Johnson are well into planning the next huge fundraising get-together that will take place on Saturday, September 17, at a location with talent to be announced. Stay tuned.
