The above headline may seem a bit odd, but that’s the way Hope’s Door New Beginning (HDNB) revealed that its Sixth Annual Tapestry of Hope Fashion Show and Luncheon will indeed be in-person at the Hilton Granite Park on Friday, September 10.
According to organizers, “All precautions are being taken to make guests feel as comfortable as possible to attend this live fundraiser. Event Producer Rhonda Sargent Chambers will mask her crew and utilize a straight runway instead of the traditional T-shaped runway. This will allow for guest tables to be 10’ apart and still enjoy the show. Sanitation stations will be throughout the lobby and ballroom.”
Fashions will include clothes from Highland Park Village’s Alice and Olivia, Frame, Lela Rose, Trina Turk and Veronica Beard.
HDNB CEO Christina Coultas reported, “It has been a long and difficult year and a half, but we are so pleased to have such a positive response to coming together to support our survivors of domestic abuse.”
Event Chair Cindy Latch and Honorary Chair Joa Muns have arranged for the following four packages to be raffled:
- A Highland Park Village Shopping Spree (Value: $2,750)
- A personal wine tasting of Boisset Collection for up to 10 people (Value: $250)
- A Rustic Cuff bracelet (Value: $198)
- Dinner for two at The Capital Grille (Value $100)
In addition to raffle tickets being available online, individual tickets are going for $150 and sponsorships ranges from $500 to $20,000.
