JUST IN: Crystal Charity Ball’s 10 Best Dressed Fashion Show Plans Revealed With Interesting Changes In Place

The Crystal Charity Ball is emerging from months of pandemic postponement/cancellation hibernation with marching orders to provide $5,391,091 for eight Dallas County children’s non-profits*. And what marching orders they are!

First off the block was the announcement of the people and plans for the annual Crystal Charity Fashion Show featuring the 10 best dressed women and the Hall of Famer.

Lisa Cooley, Mary McGreevy and Leslie Diers

The very location of the announcement itself was newsworthy. It was just made this morning, but not at the traditional Neiman Marcus Downtown. 2021 CCB Chair Leslie Diers and 2021 Fashion Show Chair Lisa Cooley revealed plans at Neiman Marcus NorthPark with new NM NorthPark GM Mary McGreevy … and for good reason.

The legendary fashion show fundraiser will take place at Neiman Marcus NorthPark on Friday, October 1. And instead of it being a fashion show highlighted by the 10 BD-ers and the HoF-er, it will be one fashion show with an encore fashion show. The double showing will allow first-show attendees to enjoy a brunch afterwards, while the second group will have a champagne tea post presentation.

Leading up to the fashion shows, there will be the Platinum Premium Ticket Level patrons’ dinner held on Tuesday, September 14, sponsored by Comerica, and the Platinum Circle Patron Party sponsored by JPMorgan on Thursday, September 30. Both events will be held at private estates.

And making up the first group of “best dressed” to be presented at NMNP will be Marybeth Conlon, Tiffany Divis, Jennifer Dix, Cate Ford, Cara French, Libby Hegi, Kim Hext, Karla McKinley, Amy Prestidge and Kimberly Schlegel Whitman along with Mary Clare Finney, who will be inducted into the 2021 Hall of Fame.

As Lisa said, “We’re honoring these remarkable women for their outstanding support of our community, as well as their good taste.”

Fashion Show tickets and underwriting opportunities are available by calling 214.526.5868. But be forewarned that there will be a limited number of tickets and they’ll probably be snapped up quickly. Surprised? Nah.

BTW, there are still more details to come about the Fashion Show and the ball that will take place on Saturday, December 4, at the Hilton Anatole. So stay tuned.
