Just in case you’re one of the few who didn’t opt for early bird status or just haven’t made up your mind on how to cast your vote, your time has come. Tuesday is Election Day!
And this year is a little different. Okay, it’s big different with more votes being cast than ever before.
But there’s another difference for Dallas County Elections. Instead of going to your assigned polling location, you can go to any one. And it appears that they’re on every street corner. The city of Dallas alone has 242 spots. Here’s a link to all the locations.
All you have to do is take a form of identification (i.e., Texas driver license, passport, etc. Sorry, but your Sam’s membership card and a selfie from a 4th of July parade won’t work.) and drop in between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. to cast your ballot. Sorry, this year there is no straight party option.
Then get a pizza and watch the results.
