Despite the Crystal Charity Ball’s 2020 Ten Best Dressed Fashion Show at NorthPark Neiman Marcus being canceled due to COVID-19, the CCB-ers and NorthParkies weren’t going to let that slow down the drive to raise funds for Dallas County children’s charities.
So the NorthPark team suggested an exhibition. Not of fashions that might have been on the runway. Not of the CCB committee of 100, who are hard at work to raise the funds. But an exhibition of the eight nonprofits (Ability Connection, Catch Up and Read, Center for Vision Health, Children’s Medical Center Foundation, Foundation for Callier Center for Communication Disorders, Healing Hands Ministries, Mommies in Need Inc. and North Texas Food Bank) that will benefit if the goal of $7,870,000 is reached.
The exhibition even includes QR Codes, so folks can scan and donate immediately.

This morning the exhibition kicked off in front of the NorthPark’s Neiman Marcus with NM NP VP/General Manager Terry Hardin, NorthPark’s Marketing and Strategy Executive Director Kristen Gibbins and CCB-ers Chair Tucker Enthoven, Underwriting Chair Susan Farris and Exhibition Coordinator Candace Winslow.

No sooner had the freestanding columns (each showcasing one of the nonprofits) been unveiled than they were stopping traffic.

As a couple of youngsters were checking out the lineup of pumpkins surrounding the pool with turtles and ducks, Tucker reminded the group the whole purpose of the organization’s year-long fundraising — “It’s about the children.”
The exhibition will be available for viewing and inspiring until Wednesday, November 4.
