Don’t want to get your hopes up, but the forecast for the next two weeks is going to be this side of unbelievable. Once the thunderstorms predicted for Wednesday subside, the temperatures for Wednesday and Thursday are only going to settle into the 70s. No, that isn’t a typo. It’s the truth.
After Thursday, North Texas is in for ten days of temperatures in the 80s.
All this means that it will be simply ideal for out-of-this world walks. No doubt folks will want to head to such places as the Dallas Arboretum, Dallas Zoo, Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary, White Rock, The Katy Trail, golf courses, tennis courts and other outdoorsy venues.
So there are some rainy days also forecast, but is there anything better than cooler temperatures with the fragrance of raindrops? Face it. No perfume great has bottle the fresh smell of rain.
But be forewarned! Check to see if your destination requires advance reservations. If so, lock yours down pronto.
Whether this is Mother Nature’s payback for an absolutely horrible June 2019 and October 2019 or she’s feeling sorry for all those who have been hunkering down due to the past seven months of pandemic, don’t question.
