JUST IN: 2019 Soup’s On! Luncheon Hands Over A Check For $315,000 To The Stewpot

May 14, 2019 9:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

While the area around the Dallas Museum of Art was backed up tonight for the by-invitation-only reception for “Dior: From Paris To The World,” with close to 700 high-level DMA members and top folks from Neiman Marcus, Christian Dior and PNC in attendance, the Preston Hollow hood was equally abuzz.

The reason: The Stewpot Alliance was in-house at Mary and Mike Terry’s house for announcements.

First of all, there was the great reveal of the take on this past Soup’s On! Luncheon that took place at the Hilton Anatole. With Chief Chef Brian Luscher along with Stewpot Alliance President Stacy Roush Caplan, Soup’s On! Luncheon Co-Chair Jill Tiernan and The Stewpot Executive Director Brenda Ewing Snitzer doing the honors, a check for $315,000 that will benefit The Stewpot was held up for all to see.

Second on the agenda was the team who will co-chair the 2020 fundraiser. It will blonde sisters-in-law Amy Hegi and Libby Hegi.

When asked where the event would take place and who the featured speaker would be, the Hegi ladies smiled sweetly and said that news would be coming.
